Design & Project Management (DPM) projects are moving forward as essential construction work.

Maintenance & Alterations (M&A) is currently at 70% to 80% staffing. They are responding to emergent and urgent requests as the priority. Current approved projects are being re-scheduled as needed depending on staffing availability.

Custodial Services will be performing enhanced cleaning services for high touch areas and common spaces through out campus. For more detailed information please review the UCLA Facilities Management Custodial Services COVID-19 Procedures

As Custodial begins to shift buildings to centralized bins we will work directly with Building Coordinators on locations for placements within their buildings. Once the transition begins, we will notify the building of the conversion date. On that date we will empty the trash one last time and leave behind additional trash bags within each desk side bin. At this time we will also supply building coordinator's with extra rolls of bags to distribute out to occupants as needed. Occupants should continue to use their desk side containers to transport trash to the centralized bins. To help prepare for the transition, you can refer to this central waste information guide.

To order disinfecting supplies for departments, please order via FSR and make sure to include “COVID” in the FAU project description for campus tracking. Grounds Maintenance has reduced staff to essential personnel only and are limiting efforts to on ongoing campus trash disposal, as required.    

Customer Relations/Customer Service will remain staffed 24/7 with reduced staffing.
