Specific organizational functions include the following:

Building Maintenance

Repair and restoration of walls, floors, ceilings and doors

Building Systems Maintenance

Repair, adjustment and preventive maintenance of plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, and elevators


Daily cleaning of buildings, recycling and trash disposal, structural pest management

Landscaping and Grounds

Care and maintenance of campus streets, sidewalks, lawns, ground cover and playing fields, external pest management

Cogeneration Plant

Produce electricity, steam and chilled water

Minor Alterations and Repair

Estimate, schedule and perform alteration and repair projects up to $50,000

Major Remodeling and Renovation Projects

Design and project management services for projects from $50,00 up to $1,000,000 from design through construction

Major Emergency Response

Assess damage repair and restore critical utilities (electricity, water, heating, ventilation and air conditioning)

Other Services

Includes activities such as fabrication and servicing of special research equipment, furniture refinishing, sign fabrication, locksmith services and furniture set-ups for special events

Requests for routine maintenance and emergency response can be called into our 24-hour Trouble Call Center at (310) 825-9236. All other service requests are handled through our Customer Service Center at (310) 206-8847.
