Irrigation Management

Conservation through efficient irrigation reduces water usage and promotes healthier plants. In order to achieve the maximum water savings, advanced irrigation technology and products must be used in combination with system design, installation, and maintenance. Water efficiency has been achieved, and the reduction of water waste has been tremendous.

To enable this complex system, UCLA:

  • Uses high-efficiency irrigation components (nozzles, pressure compensation remote control valves, and screens)
  • Uses drip irrigation
  • Uses Computer Operated Irrigation Management (Maxi-Com)
  • Uses state-of-the-art irrigation design
  • Uses proper and continuous irrigation maintenance
  • Maintains proper scheduling during the four seasons
